I absolutely love these vintage winter coats!! Even though they are designs ranging from the 1930's - 1960's, they are all still relevant in today's fashion and I would wear them all.
You can see some design attributes were popular across decades, like the big collars, oversized buttons and trimmed sleeves. But each coat is so unique! From boucle capes, to cinched waists, to trapeze swing, I love all of the silhouettes. And the colors! They are all such beautiful shades of natural colors.
Which one is your favorite?
1. 1930's Indigo Wool Coat with Fur Collar and Cuffs | 2. Foxton Court 1960's Vintage Trapeze Coat | 3. 1940's Vintage Princess Wool Coat | 4. La Foppa Vintage Wool Coat | 5. 1960's Double Breasted Wool Coat | 6. Powder Blue Vintage Wool Coat | 7. Vintage Cocoa Wool Coat | 8. 1960's Boucle Cape Wool Coat | 9. Vintage Ivory Wool Coat
Gotta love a plaid flannel and simple cardigan outfit for Fall outings! It's a tried and true combo and I just love the colorful plaid seen in today's inspiration photo. This pic makes me want to grab a hot cup of coffee and spend the afternoon watching the Fall foliage tumble to the ground.
To pair back to the easy, classic look of this outfit, I chose the LPDstudios Distressed Cognac Leather Bag with Bird Motif for the rich color of the leather. It works beautifully with the navy cardigan and the marled look of the leather is reminiscent of peak Fall leaves. And the LPDstudios Brushed Bronze Square Stud Earrings would look great with just about any outfit, but looks especially right with this Fall look. The simple silhouette and light, bright finish is a nice accent to the rich cognac leather handbag.

The weather this time of year in the northeast is so beautiful. The sun is still shining and warm, but the air is crisp and cool. A few good layers is all you need for the Fall season, just like the ones found on today's style board!
I love this sweater and scarf combo, because they are the perfect cozy, neutral layers that can be worn with just about anything. To accessorize the look with a little color, I chose my Ranger Green Leather Purse with Armadillo Appliques. It's a really pretty, rich shade of green and the perfect size to use as a daily tote. Of course, Fall just wouldn't be right without a pair of simple, tall leather boots. I chose these matte black Frye Leather Boots for the stonewashed finish and classic silhouette.
